Around Town

All you have to do is take a good look around to see that new Cabot businesses are popping up all over. It is exciting to see the growth, especially in a time when things are slow for most of the country.

Everything from consignment shops, to fitness centers, to specialty stores have opened their doors in the past several months. Among some of my favorites are new specialty stores, Bountiful Baskets and Cabot Cheese Cake Corner. Both are located in the new shopping center on Plaza Blvd. across from Knights grocery store. Bountiful Baskets offers all types of gift baskets for every occasion while the Cabot Cheese Cake Corner offers a variety of delicious cheesecakes!

Also new to town are the Sherwin Williams Paint store and the Hallmark store located in the new shopping center across from Kroger's. At last count there were two new consignment shops in Cabot, a great business for the times. Pink and Blue is a children's consignment store located at 304 East Main Street. Designer Consigner (the name says it all) is located on Hwy. 89.

Of course, there are WAY too many new businesses for me to mention here, but we would like to wish them all great success!!
